The Behind the Scenes Work for Deputy Wright’s Benefit

We show up, we participate, but do we know what goes into putting such a heartfelt benefit together?

Winnebago County Deputy Stephen Wright is recovering from being shot three times, back on September 23rd. As he rehabs and tries to regain mental and physical strength, his brothers in blue and doing what they can to make sure the benefit is a huge success.

Fellow officers and friends were recently in Nashville and scored some pretty amazing items for the benefit November 7th at Greenfire. This signed guitar featured some amazing up and coming country music talent and also the signature of a vet that just returned home.

The benefit for Deputy Wright is Tuesday, November 7th at Greenfire from 4-8 pm.  The cost in $20 per person, with 10% of food sales and silent auction items (including the guitar) going towards helping Deputy Wright. I look forward to being the evening's emcee and raising a bunch of funds to help Deputy Wright during this difficult time.
