It's the best time of the year if you're expecting and don't know what to name your new baby.

Soon-to-be parents rejoice when lists like this are released. They get to see what the popular names of boys and girls born this year and whether or not they want to "steal" that name and use it for their very own.

My wife and I just had our third child in November and sadly, his name wasn't on the list. Out of all our kids, only one, Jacob, had his name land on the list.

We ended up settling on a name that neither of us have ever heard before, Maclyn. Most "popular baby name" lists are great, but sometimes the best names are the names that come out of nowhere.
