Thank you Willis Carrier
Extreme heat, temperature close to 100, today we thank Willis Carrier.
Who is Willis Carrier and why should we care?
Born in 1876, Willis Carrier was an American Engineer that studied at Cornell University.
In 1902 Mr Carrier put together drawings of what would become the first ever air conditioner!
According to WIKI here was Willis Carrier's four ideas of what an air conditioner would do:
- Control the temperature
- Control the humidity
- Control air circulation and ventilation
- Clean the air
After testing, and perfecting this amazing invention Willis Carrier was granted a patent in 1906, and we thank you kind sir.
So as you make your way inside your home, a store, your car, or wherever A/C is blowing cool air, say thank you to Willis Carrier. We love you today Mr. Carrier.
