Stranger Things 3 casting is already the stuff of fairy tales. The Netflix drama’s ‘80s sensibility will carry on, as Princess Bride icon Cary Elwes is set to join the Stranger Things cast in a political role that confirms other recent rumors.
Stranger Things has officially been canceled. No, I’m kidding – can you imagine? Given all the hoopla and unanswered questions of the breakout Netflix drama’s second season, the streaming service has of course confirmed that Eleven, Mike, Will, Joyce, Dustin and all the rest will return for Season 3.
Stranger Things isn’t the type for a Hollywood who’s-who, other than major stars like Winona Ryder and David Harbour, but Season 2 is nonetheless getting stranger by the minute. Not only do we have two Power-ful new additions to the cast, but also confirmation on which existing cast members we’ll be seeing more of next year.
It was only yesterday we learned that Netflix breakout sensation Stranger Things would officially bring us back to Hawkins for a Stranger Things 2, and already the town is starting to expand. New casting calls reveal three significant new additions, including a new girl for the young group of friends, and a majorly mysterious avenger.
