I've said it before and I'll say it forever- I have never seen a band so consistently damn good in concert. I spoke with an old friend of the show, Derek Trucks of the Allman Brothers Band and Tedeschi Trucks Band in 2012.  Derek and fellow ABB guitarist Warren Haynes both recently announced they were leaving the band.  Always a gentleman and always an outstanding show when Derek is part of it...

Following the announcement three weeks ago that two key members of the Allman Brothers Band -- guitarists Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks -- would be leaving the group at the end of the year, frontman Gregg Allman has more bad news for the group's loyal fans: It will stop touring altogether at the end of 2014.
