My radio adventure started at Illinois State University where I hosted “The Morning Showgram and Jam.” I’m probably best known for locking myself out of the station when I went across the hall to go to the bathroom. Luckily, campus security was close to get me. I got my first real radio gig in Rockford a few months after graduation. To this day, I’m still very proud about the one qualification I had to get the job. I could work that upcoming weekend. None of the other candidates could, so I got the position. There’s a lesson for the kiddies. I was going to stay in Rockford for 6 months. Now over 23 years later, Rockford is home and I’m the Morning Guy on 96.7 The Eagle. Check out my show 6 to 10 a.m. weekdays. I’ll have Double T’s Classic Rock Artist of the Day, 96 seconds of news and sports, and lots of other fun stuff. I look forward to us getting to know each other. When I’m not at The Eagle, I enjoy napping, working IceHogs games, going to concerts, and cheering on my favorite sports teams, the Bears, Blackhawks, and Cubs).
