H.H. Holmes has been called America's first serial killer and he built his famous "Murder Castle" in Chicago.

It appears his story is coming to Hulu with the help of some Hollywood Heavyweights.

Holmes' story was highlighted in the 2003 best-selling book The Devil in the White City written by Erik Larson.

Then three years ago news began to circulate that the book might be turned into a movie when Paramount Pictures gained to option rights.

This was back in August 2015, but nothing ever came into fruition.

But as of Monday that news has changed when it was announced that Hulu and Paramount Television were working on bringing an adaptation of the story to the small screen.

The Hollywood Reporter is saying that the television series will be produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese.

There are few details being released about the show, but it will be set in the 1890s during the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago.

As far as when and where it will film and who is staring in the series is still unclear.
