Take that guys, your PMS is even worse than women.

I've always wondered, do men get PMS? Turns out that is exactly true. Men absolutely get PMS, and it happens more frequently than women.

Women have a 28-day cycle where they are vulnerable to mood swings, but according to Yahoo Health's Alisa Vitti, HHC, men have PMS once every 24 hours! She also goes on to say that more often than not, our "relationship" issues are really just hormonal imbalances that we are not aware of.

I have absolutely noticed this. My husband is such a great guy. He is kind, appreciative towards me, and is all around the most relaxed person I know until about 5 p.m. Then something happens. For about two hours or so he is so moody. It's crazy. It's almost as if a switch turns on and he is a crabby-patty. I often think to myself, "Did I say something to make him mad? Is it because I made tacos and not lasagna?"

That is not the case at all. Men are going through PMS, or as Cosmopolitan reports,

Of course, men don't actually have the lovely bonafide PMS related to preparing the uterus and egg for fertilization. But some go through what's called the male PMS: "IMS" (Irritable Male Syndrome). This can be attributed to men experiencing a drop in testosterone, the hormone that gives them their mojo. Their IMS can happen at anytime, as testosterone levels fluctuate during the day, but they tend to be highest during the morning and drop as the day goes on.

Again, makes total sense. My husband usually gets up later in the day because he works second shift. Sometimes he doesn't leave for work until 9 p.m. at night. This must be when his mojo drops.

So let me get this straight, men go through IMS once a day and women go through PMS once a month!? Why is it that women get culturally pegged for being the moody ones. Guys, you are!
