Rockford’s Angel Martinez Named USA Boxing Youth Male Boxer of the Year

This young man has punched me and Double T good times.

When you meet someone special, you just know it.

Angel Martinez is not only a talented in-ring performer but a talented in the classroom student. He takes hitting the books at Auburn as serious as hitting his opponent across the ring. On top of that, he is a polite, considerate gentleman.

We want to congratulate Angel on receiving this amazing honor in the world of boxing.  USA Boxing named him the 2017 Youth Male Boxer of the Year.

Angel has his eyes on the ultimate prize, representing the USA at the 2020 Olympics.
