Rockford Elementary School in Need of Supplies

A local elementary school is asking for the community's help in providing supplies for children in need.

The staff at Carlson Elementary school in Rockford are asking for your help.

According to WIFR, around this time of the school year, children have already used up the school supplies they have for this year.

If you happen to stumble upon any spare supplies in your home while spring cleaning, the 300 - 400 students at Carlson Elementary would really appreciate them.

The students are in need of:

• spiral notebooks
• pencils
• glue
• glue sticks
• loose leaf paper
• backpacks
• crayons
• markers
• colored pencils
