One of Rock Valley College's most famous Alumni is Larry Young. That name may not ring a bell right away, so let me tell you about Larry.

Larry Young played football for RVC 1972-1973, went on to NIU and began his training at Baseball Umpire School. Larry Young was a MLB umpire 1985-2007 and had Larry had the privilege of umpiring in two MLB All-Star games, six Division Series, three League Championship Series, and two World Series.

I met Larry years ago through our mutual love for pro wrestling! What an amazing guy with plenty of unbelievable stories.
