Rock and Roll Recap for May 12 featuring Aerosmith, Billy Squier, Jimi Hendrix and more.

2014 - Billy Squier celebrates his 64th birthday. Eric Singer, drummer for KISS, celebrates as well by turning 56. Billy Duffy, guitarist from The Cult, turns 53.

2008 - U.S. university biologist Jason Bond discovered a new species of trapdoor spider in Alabama and decided to name it after his favorite musician, Neil Young. The species was named Myrmekiaphila neilyoungi.

2002 - A home in Cape Cod owned by Aerosmith's Tom Hamilton was destroyed by a fire. The house was under construction at the time.

1971 - Mick Jagger and Bianca Perez Morena de Macias were married in St. Tropez. They had a daughter, Jade, and later divorced.

1968 - Jimi Hendrix was arrested for possession of hashish and heroin when he crossed the Canadian border for a concert in Toronto. He claimed the drugs were planted and he was later exonerated.

By far my favorite Neil Young song and music video for that matter... I'm sure there is a spider in here somewhere?
