We all remember where we were when O.J. Simpson stashed in the back of his buddy Al Cowlings' white Ford Bronco and took the nation on a slow moving ride through the Los Angeles area. That unfolded twenty years ago today. By October the following year, the Juice was found not guilty for the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown-Simpson and waiter Ron Goldman. Simpson was found to have caused their deaths in a civil trial soon after and was ordered to pay over $30,000,000 to Goldman's family. I don't believe one dime has been paid to this day.

I could of played any number of tunes for the Brizz Record Bin today to acknowledge this bizarre anniversary. "Back in the Saddle" for the white Bronco. "The Lemon Song" because there isn't a tune called "The Orange Song." The O'Jay's "Backstabber" for obvious reasons. I went with The Pretenders "Middle of the Road," a great tune from their third album, Learning to Crawl. Even with his buddy crouched in the back of his vehicle, the idea of having the 405 all to himself must have been bittersweet for Cowlings.

Here's an hour of the Bronco chase for you:
