Illinois State Police Looking For Two Missing Toddlers In Danger
UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been canceled. ABC 7 is reporting that the two children have been found safe. The children's father is still wanted by police for questioning.
If your phone started making a crazy sound earlier this week it's likely that this is the reason why.
WREX is reporting that "According to Illinois State Police, Lynn Roby, 3, and Jordyn Washington, 2, have been missing since 2 p.m. Wednesday."
Police say the children were taken by their father, Lynn Washington, 40, and last seen in Harvey, Illinois. They were last seen in a silver 2004 or 2005 Chevrolet Malibu or Impala. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
The mother of the two toddlers was found shot to death and it is believed that Washington is the killer. I am assuming this is the reason Illinois State Police believe the toddlers to be in danger.
Please share this on Twitter, Facebook, and whatever else your on. The longer it takes to find the children the more likely it is that this doesn't end happily.
If the amber alert setting on your phone hasn't been activated try to remember to switch it on. The car driving next to you on your way home from work could be the vehicle everyone is looking for.
