‘Pokézoms’ Taking Over Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens

Zombies have been seen lurking through Rockford's Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens as they attempt to catch them all.

Every day we hear something new about the Pokémon Go App. If you have been living under a rock and haven't heard of the app sweeping the nation, it's basically a 20 year old television show, put on a cellphone app, where people walk around trying to catch these little characters in real life places.

I for one, think the app is excellent. People are getting outside, off their couch, walking around and getting exercise.

But, you can't fix stupid. People are driving into trees and falling off cliffs just trying to catch them all. Just keep your head up, be aware of your surroundings and don't trespass. Common sense, right?

When you are walking through Rockford's Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens, it's hard to not stop and smell the roses. Unless you are playing Pokemon Go...

The beauty in the gardens is nothing to take lightly, there are hours and hours of hard work that are put into maintaining the beauty there. If you plan on hunting for Pokémon there, try to take in a bit of the beauty, will ya?
