Party With The Police This Afternoon in Rockford

The cops are throwing an epic party and want you to join them.

When you think about having a huge party, the last person you want to show up are the cops. Am I right?

Well, not this time my friends.

This is going to be one incredible block party and not only will the police be there, they are throwing the party and it's free!

The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office are hosting a neighborhood block party today from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

It will be at 5520 Cunningham Road in Rockford, according to their Facebook flyer.

This is an event you will want to bring the entire family to. Not only will there be fishing for the kids, K9 and safety demonstrations, music and raffle prizes, there will also be free food, too!

This will be one awesome party, a perfect addition to the last few days before school starts.
