It's a tale as old as time...kids rush home after a night of Halloween trick-or-treating to check out the stash they collected. Kids relish in all the sweet and chocolatey goodness, while parents have a critical eye looking for razor blades and meth?!?

Sadly, the idea that strangers may be trying to harm or poison our innocent children is becoming the norm, and police are warning parents that the ritual of checking the candy bags is even more important this year.

Parents, check out this post from the Dublin Police Department in Georgia and keep a close eye out for these candy-like pills.

Georgia may be far from Rockford, but drugs cross state lines all the time. When it comes to my kids' safety I'm not taking any chances....will you?
