When you're boarding a plane, it's a good idea to leave the "got the bomb?" jokes at home.

Apparently, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Trevor Davis didn't get the memo.

Davis was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport Sunday morning after he "jokingly" mentioned "Did you remember to pack the explosives?" to his female traveling companion according to TMZ.

The woman tried to get him to stop but it was too late. Davis was arrested and charged with misdemeanor criminal threats, booked and then released.

Pro tip: When traveling, don't joke about stuff like that. The following are acceptable airline jokes: the delays, airplane snacks, and meals, the in-flight movie, cramped seating, gross passengers and the probability the airline will misplace your luggage.

Everything else is off limits.
