You can purchase your very own Chicago Cub's World Series Championship ring.

According to larrybrownsports.com,

"Jostens, the company that made the rings, also has made a few different versions of the ring available for fans to purchase. The price ranges from $10,800 for the high-end ring to $299 for a lower-end replica version."

I'm a big fan of championship rings. Whenever I meet someone that has won a championship, I immediately ask them if they have one.

Members of the 1985 World Champion, Chicago Bears, usually wear their's when they make public appearances. I've gotten to see them a few times.

The Chicago Blackhawks have recently won the Stanley Cup in 2010, 2013, and 2015. With the Rockford IceHogs connection, I've seen all three of those rings.

I never earned a championship as a player, but I have worked for teams that have gone all the way. In 2004 with the Rockford Riverhawks and in 2007 with the Rockford IceHogs. In both cases, they awarded staff members rings too. So, I actually have two championship rings. It's a great honor to have received them from the organizations.

"Morgan Park High School in Chicago won the Class 3A state basketball title and didn’t have the money to purchase the rings."

"Chicago Comedian, Hannibal Buress, and former Chicago Bear, Martellus Bennett, donated money so the school could purchase the rings."

That's how important they felt it was for the players to get their championship rings.

If you ever meet anyone that has won a championship, ask them about their ring. I'm sure they will have a great story to share.
