KISS is a brand, and over the years they have proved that the dedication and loyalty to the brand is alive and well. New generations of fans continue to fill up concert venues and sing along, even with only two original members...they obviously have this thing figured out.

Here are the latest thoughts of one Paul Stanley. Ths Starchild told Billboard the following:

"The thought of me not being involved certainly comes to mind, I'm not sure about the idea of Kiss coming to an end. We've built something that's so iconic, and I think it transcends any of the members so I can certainly see me not being there, seriously. There was a time where people said it had to be the four of us and those people are already 50 percent wrong".

So we sat around the studio today and talked KISS "conspiracy theories". Here is what we actually know:

  • Paul says basically, he can be replaced and KISS can continue.
  • Gene Simmons is currently involving all former KISS members in projects.
  • Gene Simmons and Ace are actually friendly again.
  • Peter Criss has "retired".
  • The "Farewell Tour" appears to be the 2018 thing to do.

Does KISS do an "American Idol" type try-out for a new Paul? Do all "former" members get back together for a "no makeup" farewell tour and an new "make up" KISS hits the road? Will a former KISS member play the part of the Starchild? Will there ever come a day the KISS will tour with NO original members?

Enjoy some epic Paul Stanley stage chatter, we love you Paul!
