The second lunar eclipse of 2014, or 'blood moon,' will be appearing in the early morning sky on October 8th.

Well I feel quite foolish because I didn't know their was a first 'blood moon.' That may attribute to all of the crazy people I have seen lately, and the werewolves too. I'm kidding, I've never seen a werewolf.

NASA put out a great video describing in detail what the 'blood moon' will look like and what causes this natural phenomenon.

Make sure to wake up a little early and sometime between the time of 5:25 a.m. and 6:24 a.m. to see the 'blood moon', according to NASA.
