New Water Ride Coming to Magic Waters Announced

In April, you gave your input on what the new water attraction should be at Magic Waters. The newest addition has just been announced!

The Splash Blaster was a favorite at Magic Waters for many years. But the water rides do need to be refurbished every fifteen to twenty years or so.

The Rockford Park District asked the community to take a survey and help determine what the newest addition to Magic Waters should be.

We finally know! The Rockford Park District approved the building of The AquaLoop!

The AquaLoop looks incredible. According to WREX, the best way to describe the new ride would be as "a type of body water slide where single riders are dropped down a near vertical slide and into an inclined loop."

Whoa.

This sure sounds pretty incredible! Take a look for yourself!

Not only does the floor completely collapse from underneath you, but you also go shooting through a tunnel and a twist in the air which brings you out on the other end. I don't know if I have the guts to do it!
