There are two seasons in the Midwest, construction and winter.

As construction season continues, it's no surprise that you will be hitting major construction on your commute from Rockford to Chicago.

One way in which you may travel to Chicago is via I-88 East. A very popular intersection in the Aurora/Naperville area is at I-88 and Route 59. It leads to many popular shopping destinations, restaurants and night clubs.

Over the past few months, or which seems like eternity, there has been a lot of construction in the area.

What exactly is taking so long? Well this is the plan from Omega, who is working on the project.

According to the description given by Omega, this Diverging Diamond Interchange is the first of it's kind in Illinois.

I think I have watched the video at least seven times trying to figure out exactly how the cars are supposed to go. It seems extremely confusing to me, and I'm not the only one.

A friend of mine said that they have these in Utah and they are extremely confusing to navigate.

Ugh... and I thought the roundabout was confusing.
