Ok, maybe not your direct boss, but your company could be shelling out some money to you in 2019 according to this new law.

A new year is a good time to start a new diet, exercise plan, job... and it's a good time to pay attention to laws that will begin to take effect.

One of those laws is in regards to work expenses, particularly those expenses that you don't get reimbursed for despite them being necessary for your job.

You know, like your Internet? Maybe a specific article of clothing.

'The second bill, signed by Governor Rauner on August 26, 2018, and which is effective January 1, 2019, requires employers to reimburse employees for “all necessary expenses that are incurred by the employee within the employee’s scope of employment and that are directly related to services performed for the employer.”
