I have no idea how Hillary was able to keep her hair in place.

Seriously, it takes talent! I have similar blonde hair like Hillary, but mine would never stay in place, not even with the 90s head band.

When I was about 10 years old, I was a ballerina and traveled frequently for competitions. One particular competition took me to St. Louis, Missouri. While we were there, Bill Clinton, Hillary, Tipper and Al Gore all showed up to the same hotel in part of Bill's campaign tour.

He wasn't yet president, but he sure was treated like one when we were there.

I remember watching Hillary parade the street, shaking hands, smiling and being friendly with everyone. I really thought she handled herself well, and had an extreme amount of grace. While her and Bill were shaking hands and kissing babies, she shook my hand and smiled sweetly.

That evening, we headed to the large dining area for dinner. Keep in mind, I was 10-years-old at the time, so some of the memories are a little fuzzy.

Tables were scattered closely inside the main dining area and each had their own umbrella. It was like fancy patio tables inside shielding you from the sunlight and open windows above. That’s the way I remember it anyways.

I remember having dinner with Bill and Hillary Clinton. To be fair, I had a meal and she was in the same room. My little brother, John, was 3 years old at the time, and boy was he a nightmare. He was eating chicken fingers and fries, which he ate most of the time.

Everything was going fine until John got a little rambunctious. He must have been really bored with all of us staring and pointing at Bill and Hillary Clinton. During this point of the meal, he picked up a “grown-up-plate” and threw it across the room where it shattered into a several pieces. I was so embarrassed, and I think my parents and sister were too.

The next day, I was ready to go with my perfect make-up, hair and ballet costume. I was quite nervous as there was a lot riding on the line during my solo routine. As the elevator door opened, there was Hillary and little Chelsea Clinton.

Hillary told me I looked beautiful in my ballet attire and spoke to my mom and I all about the big competition going on. She was so interested in what I had to say, and even said she would stop by and watch my performance later that afternoon.

It was a great experience meeting her when I was young. She was sweet and kind. I still until this day have no idea what type of hairspray she uses... her hair doesn't move.
