My 14 year old laughs at my record player and I laugh at his Pokemon Go, until now.

"What are these giant CD's dad"?  No seriously kid, we all spent our hard earned money on actual physical items that played our favorite songs.

Albums are making a huge comeback and I love it, the artwork and sound of dropping the needle is great. I've tried my best to explain it all to the kids, they do get it but I don't think they care.

Credit where credit is due, my youngest found a usage for my turntable that helps him in his daily Pokemon Go "struggles". According to how Pokemon Go is played you must walk, you must get out and get some mileage in.

Certain parts in the game encourage you to get out and walk, the longer distances for big "power" Pokemon. There are three different egg levels, the 2km, 5km, and 10km, and each egg level's "distance" determines the power of the Pokemon...more power Pokemon for longer distances.

So here is my sons Pokemon Go "cheat". He put his IPhone on the turntable, turned the power on and walked away. The game thinks you are out walking long distances as the phone spins round and round, pretty smart actually.

While KISS - Destroyer or Rolling Stones - Tattoo You isn't coming out of the speakers, I guess no harm is done with this Pokemon Go "cheat", just don't touch the needle kid.
