A university in the Midwest now has a bacon vending machine on campus.

When I was in college, there were times I needed a late night snack. Of course, I didn't have a lot of money to order food. Usually, I would hit a vending but there weren't a lot of choices. If we only had one of these machines back then.

According to upi.com,

"Ohio State University students are being treated to an unusual snacking option for finals week thanks to a new bacon vending machine."

"The Ohio Pork Council, a trade group for Ohio pork producers, installed a vending machine at the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences that dispenses cooked ready-to-eat Smithfield, Hormel and Sugardale bacon."

The cost is $1 per strip or a handful of bacon bits. The money earned will go to the school's meat science program.

I wonder if we could get one of those in the 96.7 The Eagle Breakroom.
