McDonald’s to Test All-Day Breakfast

Sometimes you just need your Egg McMuffin, regardless what time it is.

The best part of McDonald's is the breakfast food. I'll go out on a limb and say that the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit Meal with a side of Buffalo sauce and orange juice may be the greatest meal of all time.

It's my favorite breakfast of champions after a night of one too many margaritas. Nothing is more frustrating than waking up after 10:30 a.m. to realize you can no longer get your tasty McD's breakfast.

For a time, this is going to change!

According to WGN, McDonald's will begin serving breakfast 24 hours for a limited test run.

McDonald's website states why they currently are not serving breakfast 24 hours.

Here’s the thing: it comes down to the sheer size of kitchen grills. They simply don’t have the room for all of our menu options at one time — especially considering we use our grill to prepare many items on our breakfast menu.

But we're always looking for ways to better meet our customers' needs. For example, many restaurants offer breakfast before 5:30am. And our McDonald's After Midnight menu features some of our customers' favorite breakfast and dinner menu options to mix and match to create Midnight Value Meals.

 

Will this 'test' work? Will we get McDonald's breakfast 24 hours a day? As of now there are no more details regarding when or which McDonald's will be participating in this test. Let's hope it goes well so we can get breakfast all day!
