The 4th of May is Star Wars Day, would you like it set to music?

As you celebrate this "nerd holiday" playing with you Light Saber here's something that might make you geeks happy. The Rockford Symphony Orchestra announced today on National Star Wars Day, they will be performing "Star Wars & More" on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the Coronado Performing Arts Center.

John Williams the man behind the incredible Star Wars music will be the focus of the evening. Mr. Williams other accomplishments include:

• Jaws
• Superman
• E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
• The Indiana Jones series
• Jurassic Park
• Schindler's List
• The first two Home Alone movies
• The first three Harry Potter films

The music of the silver screen will come alive September 16th at The Coronado Performing Arts Center. This marks the third time the RSO has performed the music of John Williams. the last was a sold out show in 2015.
