Illinois Man Arrested For Throwing Taco At Car

I like to think you learn something new every day and today I found out you can get arrested in Illinois for throwing a taco at someone else's vehicle.

Is it just me or does the world seem to get stranger every day? It takes a lot to surprise me nowadays. Sometimes I do come across a story and I immediately think to myself, really? This is one of those times.

This incident happened a couple of days ago in Elmhurst. An innocent bystander was on his way home from a long day at work. He's fighting rush hour traffic daydreaming about finally getting home to see his family, relax, and have some dinner. Unfortunately, there was an issue on his way.

He was sitting at the traffic light at Route 83 and St. Charles Road. That's right by where my mom lives so I know that area very well. You want to avoid that intersection at any point of the day, let alone at 5 pm on a weeknight. You better bring a Snickers because you're not going anywhere for a while.

Out of nowhere something smashes and splatters all over the victim's car. What was it? A person, bird, animal, or an unidentified flying object? It made a huge mess. The owner gets out of his vehicle and realizes it is a taco. Someone launched the tasty food at him.

The driver then spots the suspect. It was a 21-year-old man. He approached him about the incident and an argument started between the pair. The kid claimed he was throwing the taco at a friend but missed. He must have a terrible arm because I don't believe that one for a minute.

During the fight, the suspect then kicked the side of the victim's car. I bet that hurt his foot, maybe even broke it. When the police arrived, they arrested the taco throwing car kicking young man. Maybe a good punishment would be for him to sit there as the driver threw tacos at his head but that just seems like a waste of delicious food.
