Let’s Work Together in October With ‘Making Strides of Rockford’

On October 7th 2023, let's all work together and walk together for "Making Strides of Rockford," benefiting American Cancer Society.

Unfortunately, we probably all know someone that has had to deal with Breast Cancer. The American Cancer Society has teamed up with our friends at Kelly Market/Kelly Williamson Mobil for an event to raise funds, awareness, and make strides against Breast Cancer. The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a celebration of courage and hope, a movement uniting communities to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone.

Making Strides has always been more than just a walk, it’s a movement. We are making it easier for anyone, anywhere to make an impact. We know the future can be free from breast cancer. We’re asking you to join the movement and sign up to save lives. - American Cancer Society 

So here's the deal, Saturday October 7th there is an awesome event/walk for the American Cancer Society, "Making Strides." The event takes place at Rock Valley College (3301 N Mulford Rd Rockford, IL)  beginning at 8am. You can get your donation info by clicking HERE  and then join us for a day of making strides against Breast Cancer.

Apart from skin cancers, breast cancer is the most common cancer type in women. In fact in 2023 APPROXIMATELY 290,560 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. For additional information about Breast Cancer, we have answers for you by clicking HERE.
