Let’s Light Rockford Blue For Officer Jaimie Cox

Rockford Police Department[/caption]It seems like just yesterday that the entire city of Rockford united to honor the life, memory, and sacrifice of Rockford Police Officer Jaimie Cox, but it has almost been a year.

November 5 marks one year since Officer Cox was killed on duty, but Jaimie's family, friends, and colleagues want to honor his memory for one week beginning today, November 2.

I still have the blue light bulbs in my outdoor light fixtures that we placed there one year ago in honor of Officer Cox, and you better believe they will shine brightly once again for a brave man lost way too soon. I hope yours will be too.
