A truck driver from Wisconsin is being held on $2 million dollars bond for using a slingshot and metal balls to shatter windshields while driving on I-74 in Illinois.

According to news-gazette.com,

"45 cases of windows being shattered on I-74 led to the arrest of a trucker, Kevin Lee Casey, of Janesville. He is believed to have used a slingshot and metal balls to shatter windows of vehicles he drove past."

Reports started coming in March about vehicles having the windows smashed while driving on the highway. It would happen to westbound traffic on Wednesdays and eastbound on Fridays.

Police say it was difficult to find the suspect but caught a break in the case when a victim had some video footage of his truck.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured.

At this time, there is no reason given for the vandalism.
