Is This (NSFW) Illinois Record Real?

Is this (NSFW) world record from Bloomington, Illinois real or fake news?

Whenever I see something newsworthy on the internet, my first reaction is to not believe it. I wonder is this story real or fake? Leaning towards thinking it's a sham. Especially on social media.

This was exactly my reaction when I saw this story from unitednews.org titled,

"Bloomington, IL Man Sets New Record For The Longest Penis In The World."

I immediately thought this story is not true, so I decided to do a little bit of research.

My instincts were correct. There were actually four men from different places with an article about them having the same exact world record. There is no way this is possible.

Then, I found this information on hoax-alert.leadstories.com,

"Obviously, you can't have four guys in four different cities with four different ages all break the record by the exact same amount. These, four stories are clearly fake news."

If you have seen this story or happen to see it in the future, now you know it's a lie. When someone tries to pass it off as real, make sure you call them out on it.
