I’m Pregnant, Why Won’t You Give Me My Biscuits!

Sure, they add this to their All-Day Breakfast Menu, but when will they give me my darn biscuits?

Food cravings while pregnant are real.

No one quite understands what causes the pregnancy cravings or food aversions but they do happen.

When my dear friend Dana was pregnant a few years ago, one thing she craved like crazy was McDonald's Egg McMuffins. I'm pretty sure my sister Debbie craved them as well. Maybe it's the salty combination of Canadian bacon and gooey cheese that had them hooked.

I always joked that when I got pregnant some day, McDonald's would serve breakfast all day long. Lucky me, they do!

I've been pretty normal with my food cravings and aversions. The sight of chicken makes me want to vomit, but one thing I can't get enough of is bread. Specifically biscuits. Even more specifically, McDonald's Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit Breakfast Sandwiches dipped in Buffalo Sauce.

I think I started jumping up and down too soon in excitement when All-Day Breakfast was announced, because any location I've ever visited doesn't have biscuits all day. But they do have McMuffins. McMuffins are not the same as biscuits!!!

I read a headline today that said McDonald's added a new item to their All-Day Breakfast menu. What is it? Well... let me explain:

I'm glad you got your sweetness, I'll still be dreaming of my salty biscuits.
