Illinois State Issued ID May Not Allow You to Get on a Plane [VIDEO]

Here is another staggering example of ineptness in the way things are done in the state of Illinois. While we were all concerned about Tom Brady's balls and some grade school-level self-described genius making an ass out of himself at the Grammys, Illinois has been issuing driver's licenses and state ID cards that do meet federal standards for getting past security at airports. I do understand that many are against the national ID system. I also think we are currently living too much in a 'Big Brother' world, so I get that. However, the powers that be; the ones who beg to get themselves in positions of power to "work for the little guy," are apparently not able to get those same little guys on a plane. As the home of O'Hare Airport, I'm sure they'll figure this out.
