Illinois Restaurant Ranked One of the Best for Seafood in America

You don't have to be on the coast to get incredible seafood at a restaurant.

One of my favorite restaurants is Rotten Ralph's in Florida. The seafood is out of this world. On family vacations, we would take the boat right up to the dock, hop off the boat and eat the best seafood the water had to offer.

All-you-can-eat fish and chips is right up my alley. One time, while we were eating, a fisherman walked into the restaurant holding a giant fish. He held it up so high in the air waiting for a chef or restaurant patron to purchase it.

Now that's fresh.

Great seafood can be hard to find, especially here in the Midwest. I stumbled upon a list from Tabelog.com which lists the 12 Best All You Can Eat Seafood Buffets in America.

Shockingly, an Illinois restaurant made it on the list.

9. Seafood House - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
10. Horizons Oceanfront Restaurant - Ocean City, Maryland
11. Shaw's Crab House - Schaumburg, Illinois! Yes, Illinois made it on this list! Shaw's Crab House puts out a Sunday Buffet of sustainable seafood. The quality is incredible and the crab legs and oysters are perfect every time.
12. Bacchanal Buffet - Las Vegas, Nevada

I have to say I'm impressed Illinois is on the list.
