Illinois Ranked #3 And Chicago #1 In Corruption

When it comes to corruption, the state of Illinois is ranked number three and the city of Chicago is listed as number one.

I grew up in Illinois and in the suburbs of Chicago, so this is no surprise. Our state has major issues. Yet, citizens still elect the same people to office.

According to abc7chicago.com,

"A recent report by the University of Illinois in Chicago states that Chicago continues to be the nation's most corrupt big city."

"Illinois also ranked highly on the list of the most corrupt states in the U.S., taking the third place spot."
