Illinois Native Uses Music to Provide for the Homeless

If this story doesn't move you to do something incredible today, you have no soul.

Chris Leamy is becoming a household name for being a man with a talent and a huge heart.

If you haven't heard of Chris before, let me give you a brief synopsis of his story.

Chris, an Illinois native now in New York, was carrying his guitar case and a woman stopped him. The woman happened to be panhandling and she made a comment stating how it would be easier for her if she had a guitar.

This struck a cord with Chris. That weekend, he decided to go out, sit with those less fortunate and play the guitar. This helped those he sat next to increase the monetary donations they received.

While he was playing for others, he met a very special man named Miguel. He noticed after a woman tripped on the street, Miguel hop up to her rescue. He has befriended Miguel and has been playing with him in order to help him get more money.

Just two days ago, Chris posted on his Facebook page that Miguel is no longer on the streets! He has a roof over his head!

Chris is an incredible person with an incredible heart.

It should go as a reminder to all of us that the smallest gesture can mean the world to someone else. What can you do today to help someone else?

By doing this incredible act of kindness, it has opened doors to Chris. His talent has been recognized and has just signed a record deal too!
