With your help, we as a community can help complete the Winnebago County 9/11 Emergency Responders Memorial.

Today I had a fantastic opportunity to talk to Will and Alana who both, along with a team of incredible individuals are working hard to bring three statues to the Winnebago County 9/11 Emergency Responders Memorial.

The Memorial is an incredibly humbling sight to see. Just last year, Ironworkers Local 498 and Division 5 Metals put the finishing touches on the steel beams from the World Trade Center.

This year, with your help, organizers will be able to place three statues upon the memorial stage overlooking the World Trade Center steel.

The statues stand tall at 9 feet and feature a firefighter, a police officer and an EMT. They are extremely life like and are done by a local artist in St. Charles.

Here is where your help comes in...

The statues are incredible yes, but are made out of clay. They have been moved to Peoria and need to start the bronzing process. To complete the process, $100,000 needs to be raised. You can make a secure donation online at win911.org, or you can participate in their raffle fundraiser.

The raffle fundraiser features incredible prizes! Prizes include a Kindle Paperwhite, Gift Cards to Backyard Bar and Grill, $5,000 in cash and more!
