How to Drive Safely in Snow [VIDEO]

Winter roads are no fun, but this handy video teaches you exactly what to do to stay safe.

I'll never forget the time my friend Megan and I were driving home from the mall. I had a beastly car, a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville which was the size of a small boat. We actually called it 'the big red boat' because it was red and huge.

The roads weren't as bad as you would imagine, but there was a bit of slushy snow on the ground. I knew that I would have to turn left at the light ahead, so I decided to put my turn signal on and change lanes.

All of a sudden, the back tires of the car swung in front of us and Megan and I did loops across the four lane street to end up facing the wrong way in traffic. It was the scariest moment of my life and I did see my life flash before my eyes.

Whoa.

Thankfully, I am a much better driver than I was then and I have a better idea of how to safely drive the winter roads.
