Anthony Cassioppi, a senior wrestler at Hononegah High School, has signed a national letter intent with the University of Iowa.

"Anthony Cassioppi signed a national letter of intent with the Iowa Hawkeyes." 

He's a senior and wrestler at Hononegah High School.

Anthony has been very successful wrestling at the local school including being the heavyweight state champion as a junior. He's considered the best wrestler in our area.

Besides being a Big 10 school with NCAA Division I athletic programs, the University of Iowa is THE place to wrestle in college.

This is a great opportunity for Cassioppi.

It's so great to see local athletes do well. There are so many good ones in our area. We should be very proud of our high school sports history.
