Here’s Where You Can Take All Your Fallen Limbs

You may have heard that some nasty storms came through the area last night. This may have left you with some unwanted tree limbs in your yard. 

Machesney Park is helping out its residents by giving them a place to drop off all their storm debris.

Now through July 31st, Machesney Park residents can drop off branches and limbs of no larger than six inches in diameter to the parking lot of the former JCPenny.

The now defunct Machesney Park Mall anchor can be found at 8702 N. 2nd Street.

The Village would also like to remind residents that they can also continue to utilize weekly yard waste pick up in properly placed containers.
