The Fourth of July is coming soon and we are gearing up for some fireworks!

Fireworks have always been a 'hot' topic in the summer, great joke I know... hot... but this year it seems like the 'will they or won't they' when it comes to fireworks for the Fourth has been all over the news.

So that's what we're here for, you want fireworks and we want to tell you where to see them!

 2018 FOURTH OF JULY FIREWORKS SHOWS

Amboy: Sunday, July 1 at 227 E Main St; fireworks, fire truck rides, music and more.

Beloit:  Tuesday, July 3 (following the Beloit Snappers game) at Pohlman Field, 2301 Skyline Drive.

Byron: Wednesday, July 4 at Byron Dragway. Gates open at 6pm

Cary: Friday, June 29; 9:30 p.m. at Lion's Park.

Cherry Valley: Wednesday, July 4, Cherry Valley 4th of July Parade and Fireworks, parade at 1 p.m., fireworks after dusk

Crystal Lake: Saturday, July 7; 7pm Fireworks concert at Main Beach.

Davis Junction: Tuesday, July 3; Movies and Fireworks in the Park (Jumanji), 8 p.m.

DeKalb: Wednesday, July 4; Hopkins Park at dusk.

Durand: Wednesday, July 4; Durand Fourth of Just Festival, school ground, 9 p.m.

Freeport:Light the Night Freedom Fest, fully funded by the community, location and time TBA.

Hinckley: Saturday, June 30; Hinckley Family Fun Festival and Fireworks, Hinckley community building, fireworks at dusk.

Huntley: Wednesday, July 4; Independence Day Fireworks Show, Deicke Park after 7 p.m.

Janesville, WI.: Wednesday, July 4; Independence Day on the Rock, Traxler Park 9:20 p.m.

Kirkland: Wednesday, July 4; 'Largest Fireworks in Northern Illinois at Dusk' Franklin Township Park

Loves Park: Wednesday, July 4, Fireworks Extravaganza and the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, Rockford Speedway in Loves Park

Mt. Morris: Wednesday, July 4; Let Freedom Ring Festival, 112 S. Wesley Ave., fireworks at dusk.

Rockford: Wednesday, July 4; Davis Park, $6 admission to Davis Park, 9:30 p.m.

Rochelle: Wednesday, July 4; 10th Avenue and 20th Street, 8 p.m.

Stockton: Wednesday, July 4; Stockton Memorial Park on HWY 20, 4th of July Celebration does not currently include fireworks, they are raising money to buy them.

Woodstock: Wednesday, July 4; Woodstock Annual 4th of July Fireworks Display, $8 per car, Emricson Park beginning at dusk.
