There's a restaurant that gets lobsters cooked, then cooks them.

Charlotte’s Legendary Lobster Pound, likes to get their lobsters good and baked to easy the pain of being boiled alive. Sounds logical.

According to WGN TV this seafood restaurant likes to blow a little smoke in the direction of the lobster before they get thrown in the pot. It makes the whole "boiled until you die" thing a little more humane according to the owner:

“I feel bad that when lobsters come here there is no exit strategy, It’s a unique place and you get to do such unique things but at the expense of this little creature. I’ve really been trying to figure out how to make it better.”

The lobsters get high. End of story.
