Adults ages 18 to 64 are welcome to receive their free flu shot.

Getting the flu is horrible. The fever, aches, nausea and stuffy nose can be detrimental to anyone. Sometimes the flu can keep you out of work and normal daily activities for days if not weeks.

According to WREX.com, partners in health care and educational institutions are providing free flu shots today and October 23.

You do not need to bring proof of identification, and Medicare and Medicaid cards are not excepted. This is for adults in the age group who have no health insurance, are unemployed or can not otherwise afford a flu shot.

October 21:
