The Illinois Tollway has a warm little gift for drivers on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve and there's no catch.

Illinois Tollway wants you to stop by Oasis' throughout Illinois and enjoy a free cup of coffee during two of the busiest driving days of the year.

We encourage holiday travelers to stop at a Tollway oasis for a free cup of coffee and to drive carefully, especially in winter weather conditions. Take it slow, avoid distracted driving and make sure everybody in the vehicle is buckled up.

Illinois Tollway has teamed up with 7-Eleven and McDonald's to get you a free cup of Joe while traveling during this ridiculously cold weather.

Ironically, you'll probably have to pass through a toll to get there, which could more than buying a cup of coffee yourself.

To make traveling a little easier, some construction projects are being put on hold throughout the state.

Lane Closures Suspended To accommodate winter holiday travel on the Illinois Tollway, most construction activity will be restricted to better serve Tollway customers.
