Get ready for adorable overload.

The world may have been invested in April the giraffe giving birth for almost two months, but while that was going on, we had our own animal babies at Brookfield Zoo.

There's something so cute about these teeny tiny otters.

The pups were born in late February, but like most babies, needed some time with mommy and daddy (Charlotte and Bunny) before making their public debut.

Otter pups are only about 4 ounces when they're born, and in addition to being adorable, they were a pretty big deal for Brookfield Zoo. The Chicago Zoological Society reports they are the first successful birth of otter pups in Brookfield Zoo's history.
