Every Spring Break doesn't have to be beers and sand, O.K. wait that does sound pretty awesome.

Sometimes you have kids to entertain so hopefully the adult beverages can be put on hold for a moment.

Looking for something close to just get away for a little bit? According to Chicago Parent here are Five Sprig Break Destinations Close to Chicago. The first one on the list should be a pretty short drive for us.

• Starved Rock State Park - 18 Canyons, 13 Miles

• Galena - Bike trails, golf, hot air balloons

• Kalamazoo - 3-D Space Shuttle Ride
