Ever wonder if someone deactivated their account or intentionally deleted you from their social media accounts? This will show you.

We are all guilty of it in this age of social media. I am too.

I wondered to myself how so-and-so was doing, since I haven't seen them pop up on my Facebook news feed in a while. I typed in so-and-so's name in the Facebook search bar and their profile came up. I looked at their page only to see that I have been demoted. I was no longer their Facebook friend. At first I was angry. Why would they delete me? What did I ever do to them? Then reality snapped in and I thought, who cares... it's not like we were actual friends.

How long ago did they delete me? Was it something I said, didn't say, or do? I really don't care. But I found it quite interesting.

If you really want to know, who, when and why someone deleted you from their social network, there are easy ways to find out according to Thrillist.

Facebook:

On your mobile phone a simple app called Who Deleted Me makes it simple to see if someone simply deactivated their account or unfollowed you. I downloaded the app myself to my phone and while using it, I realized that it does not go back in time to show you who so far has deleted you. But it will show you who deletes you in the future. You can also download it to your web browser for real time updates.

Twitter:

Similar to Facebook, you can use the app called Who.Unfollowed.Me to see when you lose a Twitter follower. This is much more in-depth than the Facebook app I mentioned earlier. It also gives you a 30-day historical view and follow-back stats.

Instagram:

I suppose if someone is sick of looking at photos from my garden, they would probably unfollow me on Instagram too. What can I say, I'm proud of my grown veggies! This app will show you which followers you have lost and gained and more.
